Scissor Lifts Left And Right Uneven Causes Scissor Lifts Main And Vice Platform Leveling Method

Scissor lifts are widely used for large vehicle maintenance, and because of the simple structure and good synchronization, they are generally commonly used as platforms for four-wheel positioners. Scissor lifter up and down speed is not the same, left and right imbalance may be caused by uneven foundation, may also be the cylinder oil or two-way ball valve problem. Here are the reasons for scissor lift left and right unevenness and scissor lift main and vice platform leveling methods.

First, Reasons why scissor lifts are not level from side to side

1, the two platform foundation level error is large

Checking method: use a level ruler or level pipe to check whether the two foundations are level.

Solution: Re-do the foundation to meet the level requirement or use the leveling shims to make the machine reach the level requirement.

2, 2-pass ball valve (internal leakage)

Check method: Every time the lifter rises, it appears in the secondary platform is lower than the main platform.

Solution: Close the two-way ball valve or replace the two-way ball valve.

3, Oil cylinder oil (internal leakage)

Inspection method: After the lifter is leveled, the secondary platform is higher than the main platform for a period of time.

Solution: Replace the main cylinder or cylinder seal.

 

Second, Scissor lift main and vice platform leveling method

1, open the back cover of the control cabinet.

2, the switch to “a” position.

3, open the one-time oil check valve.

4, Tap the rising and falling buttons, combined with the replenishment valve, adjust the height difference between the primary and secondary platforms until the two platforms are the same height, close the primary replenishment check valve, and then lower the two platforms to the bottom.

5, Trigger the changeover switch to the “secondary” position.

6, according to the same method above to adjust the secondary lifting main and secondary platform to equal height, and then the two groups of platforms down to the bottom.

7, after the adjustment is completed, cover the back cover.

Third, scissor lifter common faults and handling

1, Slow rising speed of the lifter

(1) relief valve adjustment is not in place

Inspection method: Adjust the relief valve clockwise for two turns, press the rising button and check whether the rising speed is normal.

Solution: Adjust it in place according to the checking steps.

(2) Suction pipe screen is clogged.

Inspection method: Remove the screws connecting the valve plate to the oil drum, and check whether there is any debris in the suction pipe screen.

Solution: Clean the oil suction pipe screen.

(3) Cracks in suction pipe joints

Inspection method: Disassemble the screws connecting the valve plate to the oil drum, and check whether there are cracks at the joints of the suction pipe.

Solution: Replace the suction pipe.

(4) Electromagnetic unloading valve spool with debris

Inspection method: raise the lifter, check whether the machine is automatically unloaded.

Solution: Clean or replace the electromagnetic unloading valve spool.

2, the lift is slow to fall

(1) the descending throttle valve screwed too tightly

Check method: check whether the descending throttle valve screwed too tight.

Solution: Loosen the nut of the descending throttle valve spool, rotate the spool counterclockwise, and adjust the appropriate position according to the descending speed of the lift.

(2) dirty hydraulic oil is not clean

Check method: visual inspection of the hydraulic oil is not clear, there are debris.

Solution: replace the hydraulic oil.

(3) explosion-proof throttle valve with debris

Inspection method: disassemble the main cylinder hose connector, check whether there is debris.

Solution: clean the explosion-proof throttle valve or replace the cylinder connector.

(4) electromagnetic unloading valve spool debris

Inspection method: disassemble the electromagnetic unloading valve spool, check whether there are debris.

Solution: Clean or replace the electromagnetic unloading valve spool.

(5) The oil pipe inside is not smooth

Inspection method: remove the main oil pipe, remove the oil pipe into the pump station connector, directly press the rising button, visual inspection of the oil pipe out of the oil is smooth.

Solution: Replace the oil pipe.
